We are the Italian branch of Persia International Bank Plc (PIB), a bank under English law (credit institution) authorised by the PRA in the United Kingdom based in London whose shareholders are Bank Mellat and Bank Tejarat, two of the largest credit institutions in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The main activity carried out by PIB in London has historically been based on the so-called Trade Finance operations through the offer of a complete range of products and services to its customers and correspondent banks.

The Italian Branch was launched in 2020 and was authorised to operate by the Bank of Italy in February 2022. Our aim is to replicate the same model in Italy, where the Branch has the opportunity to assist both Italian companies in their commercial relations with Iranian counterparts and Iranian companies and correspondent banks.
